Batteries

Five 48-volt VRLA Battery Packs:

• Comprised of four 12-volt AGM (Absorption Glass Mat) batteries.
• AGM design was originally developed for military aircraft where power, weight, safety and reliability were critical.
• On the AMP™ Rider electric mower this design eliminates sloshing and potential spillage from tipping.

• Batteries Bundled to effectively extend the average mowing time up to 75 minutes.

Batteries Designed for 200 Charges:

• A real advantage with the battery system is that if a single pack fails, it can be replaced individually.

Brushless Electric Motors

Three Brushless Motors:

• One 4.0 hp traction motor and two 1.7 hp spindle motors.
• This combination delivers the same drive and cutting power as a conventional rear- engine gas-powered mower.

Padded Seat

• Mid-back Padded Seat adjusts a full 2-1/2" front to back.
• Safety Sensor automatically stops the cutting blades should the operator rise off of the seat.
• Innovative Drain Design eliminates standing water on the seat, which keeps it dry.
• Optional Armrests Available to enhance operator comfort.

Operating System

• Easy-to-Access Single Control Panel includes: Keyed on/off switch, blade on/off kill switch, battery level indicator, and battery discharge meter.
• Advanced Low Charge Indicator gives an early warning by FLASHING approximately 10 minutes before battery is totally discharged.
• AMP™ Rider electric mower automatically shuts off cutting blades when battery voltage is reduced to a point where batteries should be recharged to avoid battery damage.

Steering System

• Conventional Steering Wheel Design is 13-1/2" in diameter and features a textured grip for improved operator control.

Hydrostatic Transmission

• Traction Motor delivers constant torque to efficiently generate more power.
• No Clutch, No Shifting, simply push the foot pedal forward and the AMP™ Rider electric-powered mower goes forward; push the foot pedal backward to go in reverse.

Smooth, Controlled Acceleration:

• Acceleration from 0-5.0 mph (push pedal forward and the wheels quickly begin turning at 5.0 mph, there’s no ramp-up time); reverse speed is 2.5 mph.

Battery Charger

Standard 5-amp Charger:

• Weighs approximately 10 lbs.
• Fully recharges the battery in 16 hours.
• For the off-season, simply leave the battery plugged into charger. Once fully charged, the charger hibernates for 30 days and then checks the battery. If a charge is needed, the battery is restored to full charge and the charger again returns to hibernation.

Optional 20-amp Charger:

• Weighs approximately 40 lbs.
• Fully recharges the battery in five hours.
• WARNING: Rapid charging will reduce battery life.
